Rt.Rev.Dr.S.Gnanaprahasam is the founder and Bishop of this diocese. He was consecrated as a Bishop and the Diocese of Cumbum Valley was formed in March 2003.

This church ministry was started by Rt.Rev.Dr.S.Gnanaprahasam in January 2001at cumbum, Theni District. Winning 50,000 people to the kingdom of God is the main target of this church ministry. By the grace of God in March 2003 we bought the land and constructed the church. This is first church to our diocese.
